In 2021, I am doing a limited edition color series the celebrate the different full moons of the year. September is the Harvest Moon, when farmers use the light of the full moon to bring in the Harvest.

Colorway: Harvest Moon, September Full Moon Series. The Harvest Moon is one of the most important full moons of the year as the Harvest Moon heralds the beginning of autumn.  For such an occasion, I had to pick a special yarn base so I choose Denali, a luscious, luxurious blend of merino, yak and silk.

Yarn Specifications:

Denali Fingering
Number of Plys: 3
Yardage: 438 yards
Skein Weight: 100 grams
Fiber: 65% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk, 15% Yak
Gauge: 6 to 9 stitches per inch on US Size 1-3 (2.25mm to 3.00mm) needles

Care: While superwash wool yarns can be machined washed on cool setting, it is recommended to hand wash and line dry.

Dyeing: Teton Yarn Company uses color fast acid dyes on all our yarns. My yarns are all hand dyed by me in my yarn studio in Teton Valley, Idaho. Yarns are dyed in groups of 2-3 in most cases and I do my best to ensure consistency in each batch, however, there will be some variation even within a dye lot. Different dye lots will be siblings, rather than twins, so it is recommended you order enough for a project in one order for best results.
