Have you fallen in love with the Find Your Fade Shawl by Andrea Mowry? This simple but beautiful shawl asymmetrical shawl fades from one color to the next in all it's glory. Or do you want to cast on one of the many other stunning gradient projects out there? Build your own 3, 5, or 7 skein set from our large selection of tonal colors for your own knitting adventure.
Each kit includes Teton Yarn Company Hand Dyed Mountain Sock Yarn in tonal shades. Mountain Sock is a durable but soft, 4 ply Superwash Merino Sock Yarn with generous yardage with the right amount of twist to hold up to socks but soft enough to wear next to the skin for a variety of projects such as shawls, shawlettes, baby blankets, wraps, gloves and hats. This is my go to sock yarn for my husband and friends as the Tetons are hard on socks but this one holds up time and time again.
By buying this kit, skeins are discounted from their regular price of $25 per skein and you receive free shipping. Kits may take a few days to process before they are shipped.
Build Your Own by selecting the number of skeins you want from 3, 5, or 7 skeins and then choosing from my colors by listing your choice in the Note to Seller at checkout. Yardage: 438 yards per skein
Skein Weight: 3.5 ounces/100 grams per skein
Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino
Gauge: 7 to 9 stitches per inch on US Size 1-3 (2.25mm to 3.25mm) needles
Care:
While superwash wool yarns can be machined washed on cool setting, it is recommended to line dry.
Dyeing:
Teton Yarn Company uses color fast acid dyes on all our yarns. My yarns are all hand dyed by me in my yarn studio in Teton Valley, Idaho. Yarns are dyed in groups of 3 in most cases and I do my best to ensure consistency in each batch, however, there will be some variation even within a dye lot. Different dye lots will be siblings, rather than twins, so it is recommended you order enough for a project in one order for best results.
