Teton Yarn Company Hand Dyed Mountain Sock Yarn, a durable but soft, 4 ply Superwash Merino Sock Yarn with generous yardage with the right amount of twist to hold up to socks but soft enough to wear next to the skin for a variety of projects such as shawls, shawlettes, baby blankets, wraps, gloves and hats. This is my go to sock yarn for my husband and friends as the Tetons are hard on socks but this one holds up time and time again.
Colorway: Grizzly 399, the Grand Matriarch of Grizzly Bears in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem who famous for often having triplet cubs. In Spring 2020, Grizzly 399 stunned the world, at the ripe old age of 24, from emerging from hibernation with not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 4 cubs in tow. Grizzly 399 is followed and adored by millions of people all over the world, with her own Facebook page. (Photograph of Grizzly 399 used by permission from Jeff Bernard. Dyeing: Teton Yarn Company uses color fast acid dyes on all our yarns. My yarns are all hand dyed by me in my yarn studio in Teton Valley, Idaho. Yarns are dyed in groups of 3 in most cases and I do my best to ensure consistency in each batch, however, there will be some variation even within a dye lot. Different dye lots will be siblings, rather than twins, so it is recommended you order enough for a project in one order for best results.
