Teton Yarn Company Hand Dyed Mountain Sock Yarn, a durable but soft, 4 ply Superwash Merino Sock Yarn with generous yardage with the right amount of twist to hold up to socks but soft enough to wear next to the skin for a variety of projects such as shawls, shawlettes, baby blankets, wraps, gloves and hats. This is my go to sock yarn for my husband and friends as the Tetons are hard on socks but this one holds up time and time again.
Colorway: Moulton Barn. Built by T.A. Moulton in 1912, Moulton Barn was transferred to the National Park Service to help form the expanded Grand Teton National Park. It one of the most photographed buildings in the world, with a stunning paranoiac view of the Grand Tetons as a backdrop to this historic structure.

Dyeing: Teton Yarn Company uses color fast acid dyes on all our yarns. My yarns are all hand dyed by me in my yarn studio in Teton Valley, Idaho. Yarns are dyed in groups of 3 in most cases and I do my best to ensure consistency in each batch, however, there will be some variation even within a dye lot. Different dye lots will be siblings, rather than twins, so it is recommended you order enough for a project in one order for best results.
